Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT)
While there are many types of interventions to promote some pain relief, very few promote the transformation of pain into recovery or becoming pain-free. This course introduces pain reprocessing therapy (PRT)'s, a new gold standard for treating chronic primary pain. The five main components of PRT and case examples to help the patient break their fear-pain cycle. Also, five major barriers to pain recovery will addressed and how to resolve them in a step-wise manner.
